Kannadasan explains Annadurai Speech that “Brahmins are not our enemies”.

1957 திருச்சி தி.மு.க. மாநில மாநாட்டில், தான் பார்ப்பனர்களுக்கு எதிரி அல்ல என்றும், பார்ப்பனீயத்திற்கே எதிரி என்றும் அண்ணாத்துரை பேசினார்.

DMK's slogan of Dravida Nadu found no support in any state of India other than Tamil Nadu. The non-Tamil Dravidian speakers perceived the ambitions of the Tamil politicians as hegemonic, ultimately leading to the failure of the Dravida Nadu concept. Kavignar Kannadasan explains about DMK Party in his book Titled “Vanavaasam”.

The decline in support for the Dravida Nadu within the DMK can be traced back to as early as the Tiruchi party conference in 1956, when the party decided to compete in the Tamil Nadu state assembly elections of 1957. E.V.K. Sampath, who was leading a faction within DMK, argued that Dravida Nadu was "not feasible".
In the 1957 elections, DMK managed to win only 15 of the 205 seats in the state assembly. In Tiruchi party conference 1957, Annadurai stated that Brahmins are not our enemies and we are against only Brahmanism.

Kindly hear thro video, what kannadasan has told about DMK.

Kannadasan says for getting votes in elections Annadurai has changed his stand and really they are not having any attachment with the party principles including Dravidanadu. Kannadasan further says to fool the people they have created caste propaganda and against Hindu gods and the party workers believed faith with their leaders and on getting from the stage the leaders have changed their colours as an ordinary selfish man.
By seeing double talk of the leaders kannadasan realized the true face of the leaders including karunanidhi and has resigned from DMK Party and he has never accepted DMK Party principles.

Hi Boss,

That means Kannadasan does not approve Anna's change of stand on what Anna himself realized as stupid /unrealistic policies of Dravidian movement ???

What is wrong if Anna became a better man from 1957 and chose the right path for his political career

NKR.

Dear Kaveri,
Regards.
Very often LEADERS [of all types] find it easy to get good/blind follwing by raising hate-theories and slogans. Sometimes popular support of great unexpected scale makes them realize their moral responsiblity. I think here is such a case.
In Keralam, in 1957, democracy approved the suppor-base of communists. And a good number in the top realised the added responsibility in the changed context.
