Why no one talks about riots in Gujarat under Congress Rule?

After India gained independence there have been very serious riots in Ahmedabad.

1. in 1969, 1289 muslims were killed. CM at the time was Hitendra Desai (Congress;) Indira Gandhi (Congress) was the PM.

2. In 1985, many small riots took place in Gujarat which
lasted for months. At the time Madhav Singh Solanki (Congress) was the CM and Rajiv Gandhi (Congress) was the PM.

3. In 1987, again there were riots when the CM was Amarsingh Choudhary.

4. Then in 1990, again there were riots when the CM was Chimanbhai Patel.

5. In 1992 there were riots in Gujarat when the CM was Chimanbhai Patel.

****ABOVE 5 MAJOR RIOTS, among many small ones, took place when CONGRESS was in POWER.

Will we ever blame them for the riots???

Why most MODI baiters (including those from across borders in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Jordan) talk only about 2002 riots? What is their Agenda in India?

Also, there have been NO RIOTS in Gujarat since 2002

And the order has been restored…….its peaceful ever since. Why not talk about how MODI brought peace in Gujarat after 2002 Godhra-riots following burning of rail coaches by muslims in which Hindus devotees were sleeping after a long journey home from Ayodya and after doing kar-seva (manual labors to build a temple for their god Rama.) All they wanted at Godhra station were cups of tea from vendors (muslim) who had been given vending contracts there during Lalu's rule of Indian Railways.

WHY ONLY 2002 RIOT IS TALKED ABOUT IN GUJARAT BY CONGRESS WHILE FORGETTING ALL THE OTHER RIOTS THAT OCCURRED DURING THEIR OWN?????

You are so correct. Let us throw out Congress rule (mis-rule) in elections of the future.

Congress is the most disgusting party which 1stly divided India into pieces now known as Pakistan....and still they are practicising the same within the country by dividing hindu and muslims.....

Kushwaha ji

It is better Constitution of India is changed so only Defense forces; Terrorism, Border Control; Supreme Court, National Elections, Railways, National Highways, River water sharing issues, Space programs, RBI and such... that pertain to all of India is controlled and Administered by Central Government.

All citizens should separately pay Federal taxes and State taxes and Central government should be reduced to just protecting the Country as a whole using revenue from Federal Taxes paid by the citizens. It's head can be the President of India. There can/could be National parties which will field candidates for MPs and President of India and they should play their role once in 5yrs as usual; discuss National issues in Parliament presided over by a Vice President who reports to the President of India.

All States should be fully controlled by elected CMs. Each State today has its own agenda anyway on how the State people are served best. Even export import from any State to other countries should be left to concerned States. If State and Central (Federal) control over India and its problems are clearly defined this way I think India can be ruled better and will progress faster. There should be no Central (Federal) interference in State Administration.

How is that for an idea to resolve all these Central rule vs State rule? Won't that solve India's problems?

Dear Kaveriyamma,
You see, CONGRESS WAS CREATING SIMILAR CONDITIONS IN REST OF INDIA WHAT IT DID TO DO PUNJAB IN 70s THROUGH 80s? It first created JS BHINDRAWALE to check Akalis.. Then it entered GOLDEN TEMPLE to flush out BHINDRAWALE and his cronies-------PUNJAB was burnt , then, and FIRE was Still simmering ------: It is now appeasing Muslims and creating people like AKBARUDDIN and other such HARD CORES to check BJP and RSS.

KPS GILL in 1997 on the suicide by ex SSP Taran Taran, Mr. AJIT SINGH SANDHU, Said : We are not far from the edge of the abyss. Let this nation beware of the hour when no man will risk his life to protect another or to defend the nation,'' Josh Malihabadi once wrote:-

“Buzdilon ke ishq mein, shaida mujhe kyon kar kiya.
Is namard desh mein paida mujhe kyon kar kiya''----

He continues :--------Nonetheless, in a country dominated by those who prefer to criticize from the safety of their homes, or the comfort of air-conditioned debating societies at Delhi and Chandigarh, there are still a handful of people who are willing to risk everything including their lives and the lives of their family to protect the unity and integrity of their nation, and the lives of citizen’s terrorised by an utterly unprincipled and merciless enemy.---------I can say without reservation that AS Sandhu was one such man. "

"----------Tarn Taran, at the height of terrorism was sometimes spoken of as the rocket that would propel Punjab out of the Indian Union. The terrorists influence was absolute; for years, it was virtually out of the control of the civil administration, and even the police had no more than a nominal and symbolic presence there.-----------"
His words are as relevant today---in fact more applicable to India of today.
Thanks again.
Regards
